COLUMBUS, Ind. – As COVID-19 continues to spread across the country and state, Cummins is taking precautions as well. External Communications Manager Katie Zarich says the company has asked all Indiana employees who can do so, to work from home. The suggestion was made as a way to self-quarantine and keep the virus from potentially spreading.
Cummins will continue to monitor the situation as it develops across the state, but as of now, employees are being asked to work from home until April 6.
The first COVID-19 case in Indiana was reported by the Indiana State Department of Health on March 6. Since then, the number has grown to at least 24 positive cases in 13 different counties.
