COLUMBUS, Ind. – Foundation For Youth (FFY) has spent the past few weeks researching and monitoring the rapidly changing COVID-19 coronavirus health issue. It has consulted with many who are invested in both the education and the well-being of children and have taken important and recommended precautionary measures including increased handwashing stations, and signage.
FFY has also been working closely with school leadership, families, the health department, and elected officials to plan for what the CDC suggested might be a more radical adjustment. After careful consideration, it was concluded that the best course of action to protect young people and the community is to close both FFY facilities, 405 Hope Ave., and 12454 Youth Camp Rd., through April 5.
Foundation For Youth continues to monitor the situation and health department recommendations, and it hopes to return to normal programming as soon as possible. For more information, go to www.foundationforyouth.com, the FFY Facebook page, or call 812-348-4558.
