WHITELAND, Ind. – Josie Kelsay, a member of the 2024 graduating class of Whiteland Community High School, represented Whiteland FFA in the Indiana State Dairy Handlers contest last week.
The local Future Farmers of America association announced this weekend that Josie was named the State Champion and will represent Whiteland and the State of Indiana at the National FFA Dairy Handlers Contest in October at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin.
It is the second National contest Whiteland FFA has qualified for this year, with their Milk Quality and Products team qualifying for Nationals in February.
