FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin Community Schools (FCS) announced Monday that it is introducing Franklin Community Virtual School (FCVS) this fall. Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, FCS will offer a virtual learning experience to students in grades K-12.
“In today’s learning journey for students, we continue to see a need for various educational opportunities,” FCS superintendent Dr. David Clendening said. “We want to partner with parents to provide students the best education for their needs. I see it as a win-win. Parents, students, and Franklin Schools are partnering to enhance a bright future for students.”
Students in K-12 enrolled in FCVS will be provided synchronous instruction by certified teachers experienced in virtual instruction. A hybrid option will also be available to students at Franklin Community High School.
