COLUMBUS, Ind. – A local wanted man with a burglary warrant for his arrest was located by the Columbus Police Department (CPD) and taken into custody early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person near South Mapleton Street at around 12:40 a.m.
The suspect, James M. Kapetanios, 34, of Columbus, was later spotted running through yards in the area. Officers apprehended Kapetanios in the 2700 block of Clifty Street where they confirmed a felony warrant for his arrest.
Kapetanios was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where he was charged with the Bartholomew County Warrant (Burglary; Level 5 Felony)
