PLAINFIELD, Ind, – As a cold front passes through Indiana, extremely gusty conditions will give way to bitterly cold temperatures on Sunday and into next week. Severe wind gusts elevate the likelihood of power outages across the state.
Duke Energy says crews are ready to respond, but adverse travel conditions can sometimes result in lengthier outage restoration times. With sub-freezing temperatures on the horizon, customers are encouraged to prepare now.
