COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew County Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET) arrested two people on felony drug charges on Wednesday.
Robert D. Zambrano, 51, of Columbus, was being investigated by JNET because they had received several tips saying that he was dealing drugs out of his home. A search warrant was obtained for the suspect’s home, 261 N. Ross St., where three ounces of methamphetamine, three ounces of marijuana, packaging material, a digital scale, and other drug-related items were allegedly found.
Ashley N. Gibson, 34, was also taken into custody. She had been staying with Zambrano, according to JNET. Both were transported to Bartholomew County Jail.
Zambrano faces preliminary charges of Dealing in Meth (Level 2 Felony), Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Dealing in Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Gibson was charged with Possession of Meth (Level 3 Felony), Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
