COLUMBUS, Ind. – The fourth event in the Bartholomew County Historical Society’s Evelyn Seward Speaker Series is on Tuesday, October 24, at 6 p.m., at the Helen Haddad Hall, 315 Franklin St. Admission is free with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This installment in the series will honor and remember the POWs and MIAs of Bartholomew County.
You are invited to attend to hear Zach Ellison and Robert Miller share what the county is doing to recognize these men and women. As veterans of the US Military, they will present stories of those who were held as prisoners or are still missing from Bartholomew County, talk about the POW/MIA flag ceremonies held annually to honor those individuals, plus share information about the POW/MIA Bob Garton Plaza.
The historical society’s presentation will also highlight the six branches of the US Military.
