COLUMBUS, Ind. — A young man accused of taking part in the kidnapping and brutal beating of a 19-year-old in a barn earlier this month turned himself in Friday morning, per the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
Zablin “Jai” Woodruff, 19, turned himself in at 9:45 a.m., according to BCSO’s Sgt. Dane Duke.
Thursday night there was a heavy police and SWAT team presence outside a home in the 200 block of North Hughes Street for several hours. Law enforcement served a search warrant at the residence, but Woodruff ended up not being there.
