EDINBURGH, Ind. – It was a special Friday morning for the crews at Edinburgh Fire and Rescue. Early in the morning, they were called to a residence where a woman was about to give birth to a child.
Squad 41 and Ambulance 41 responded, evaluated, and prepared the patient for transport. En route to the hospital, emergency personnel delivered a baby girl.
The Edinburgh Police Department also assisted.
Edinburgh Fire and Rescue congratulates the new mother and child and salutes its crew for a job well done.
