VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Historical Society invites Hoosiers to its 2022 Town and Country Tour of gardens, homes, and barns throughout Jennings County on Saturday and Sunday, June 25 and June 26.
The tour offers something for everyone – historic homes, industrial-style Container homes, renovations in progress at an 1834 landmark, and a century-old restored barn and corncrib. The Victorian Railroad Office and Barb Cooley’s garden will also be open to visitors.
Tickets are available at the historical society in Vernon starting June 15. In advance, the cost is $15 each, while the day of tour tickets are $18. Refreshments and restroom facilities are available at the historical society during the tour.
