SEYMOUR, Ind. – Indiana State Police (ISP) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle that struck a pedestrian Friday afternoon on the north side of Seymour.
The pedestrian was hurt after being hit by a car near the intersection of County Roads 700N and 875E, at around 4 p.m. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
The victim stated that he was walking near the intersection when he was struck by a vehicle, possibly a silver Chevrolet Impala. After the car hit him, it continued traveling north on County Road 875E, past Trinity Lutheran High School.
Anyone with any information about the hit-and-run crash is urged to call ISP at 812-689-5000.
