INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), in its daily update, reported 1,198 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday. Since March of last year, Indiana has verified 698,692 cases of the disease.
ISDH also says there were 10 more deaths in the latest update and now 12,743 Hoosiers have died from COVID.
Bartholomew County has totaled 7,807 cases, Jackson County reports 4,898, Jennings County confirms 2,243, and Johnson County has had 17,346 cases of the virus.
Vaccine inoculations continue to increase in Indiana as well. As of Sunday, more than 3.3 million doses have been administered in the state, including about 1.9 million Hoosiers receiving a first dose and 1.4 million individuals who are fully vaccinated.
