COLUMBUS, Ind. – It is the 2020 General Election Day, and polls in Bartholomew and all Indiana Counties are open today from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., local time.
After in-person early voting closed Monday at Fair Oaks Mall, 20,843 voters had cast ballots during the process. When you include the 6,675 absentee mail-in ballots, a total of 27,518 absentee votes have already been cast in Bartholomew County or 51% of registered voters.
It has been a record year for early voting locally, but Bartholomew County Clerk Jay Phelps says if you have not already voted by absentee ballot, registered voters can still make their voices heard at 12 different vote center locations in the county today.
