GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Greenwood Nature Center has announced another workshop coming next month. On Saturday, September 28, the center will be hosting a monarch butterfly workshop which will teach participants about the species that shows up every summer in Indiana.
You will learn how the butterfly migrates, and how you can create a habitat that is perfect for them in your backyard. After the seminar, participants will also help tag and release butterflies.
The event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is necessary and can be done by calling the Greenwood Nature Center at 317-887-4711.
