COLUMBUS, IND. – Indiana University Columbus Athletics has renewed its strategic partnership with CERA Sports Park and Campground (Ceraland) for another three years, further strengthening the athletic opportunities for IU Columbus student-athletes by providing ongoing access to Columbus’s premier sports and recreation facility.
The agreement provides IU Columbus Athletics continued access to Ceraland’s extensive facilities, including gymnasiums and baseball/softball diamonds. It also adds 122 members to Ceraland’s membership pool. The sports complex will continue to serve as the home venue for multiple Crimson Pride athletic programs including cross country, volleyball, baseball, and softball.
“Our ongoing and expanding collaboration with Ceraland marks a significant milestone for IU Columbus Athletics,” said Zach McClellan, IU Columbus Director of Athletics. “Access to these first-class facilities will enhance our student-athletes’ training and competition experiences while strengthening our community ties.”
Ceraland’s 345-acre complex offers modern athletic facilities that align with collegiate competition standards. The partnership includes scheduled access for team practices, home games, and special athletic events. It extends the original agreement immediately.
IU Columbus teams began facility use in early 2022.
