FAIRLAND, Ind. – The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department, Moral Township Fire, and Shelbyville Fire Department responded Sunday at around 1:30 p.m. to the 7100 block of N. Christopher Lane for a “shots fired” call.
Upon arrival, Sheriff’s Deputies found two white males who were unresponsive. Although the names of the men were not released by authorities yet, one is a 39-year-old from Wanamaker, Indiana, and the other is a 28-year-old from Fountaintown, Indiana.
Medics at the scene asked for the Shelby County Coroner to come to pronounce them deceased.
No other subjects were found in the residence.
Officials at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department say this was an isolated incident and they believe there are no other suspects at this time. This investigation is ongoing.
