COLUMBUS, Ind. – Indiana Youth Group (IYG) Columbus is set to host “It’s Giving Summer Camp!” July 23-26. The camp, for all youth ages 12-19, is held at three locations in the Columbus area.
Indiana Youth Group creates safer spaces to foster community and provides programming that empowers LGBTQ+ youth and magnifies their voices.
The camp starts on Tuesday, July 23 with an overnight experience at the Columbus Youth Camp, where campers will experience a traditional night of camping. A night hike, s’mores, archery, swimming, fishing, sleeping in cabins, and much more is planned for the two-day affair.
On Thursday, July 25, the camp will meet from 12-8 p.m. at IYG Columbus for an AFFIRM group session, Smash Brothers tournament, and IYG Columbus Youth Night.
The final day of the camp will transition to Hamilton Ice Arena for a luau skate from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, July 26.
