COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Historical Society (BCHS) presents its Summer Camp series for kids beginning Wednesday, June 12, and continuing every Wednesday (except July 3) through July 31.
The hands-on camps, sponsored by Landmark Corporation, are at BCHS, 524 Third Street. The free sessions, for grades 3-6 (the grade you will be in this fall), are sponsored by Landmark Farms Foundation. The classes are from 3 to 5 p.m. and will be held rain or shine.
Plan for outdoor activities when possible. Drop off and Pick up should be at the start and end of camp.

Sign-up deadlines are Tuesdays before each camp at 4:00.
The Bartholomew County Historical Society summer camp themes are:
- June 12 – Hands-on History featuring a 1926 Ford TT Truck
- June 19 – Juneteenth – the underground railroad and Bartholomew County
- June 26 – Native Americans in Indiana
- July 10 – Pack your Wagon – Onward to Indiana
- July 17 – Candle making
- July 24 – Historic Games
- July 31 – Soldier through time – The American Revolution thru modern day
