EDINBURGH, Ind. – Luke Piercefield was recently presented with the Lifesaver Award from Edinburgh Fire and Rescue, the Edinburgh Police Department, and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 18, while he and his father were riding ATVs, his dad had an accident. The boy called 911 and helped to guide crews to their location.
Luke remained by his father’s side and showed a tremendous amount of bravery, helping to keep his dad calm until help arrived.
Edinburgh officials said, “Congratulations Luke, Your community is very proud of you.”
