COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) announced Friday that Smith Elementary School’s Lisa Haines has been named the inaugural TechPoint Foundation for Youth (TPF4Y) Teacher of the Year.
TFP4Y is spotlighting outstanding teachers who are shaping the future of STEM education. Thousands of dollars in prize money are being awarded to teachers to celebrate their contributions to inspiring the next generation of innovators, problem solvers, and leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), specifically for underrepresented students.
BCSC and TPF4Y congratulate Lisa Haines, the 2024 TPF4Y Teacher of the Year. She was awarded $5,000 for the recognition.
