COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus and Bartholomew County Alert System says that the National Weather Service has put a Flood Warning into effect until late Wednesday afternoon for Haw Creek.
According to the Columbus Response Plan, there is already high water near Clifford, County Road 450N, Rocky Ford Road, Marr Road, and 10th Street.
The flood stage for Haw Creek is 12 feet. At 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, HawCreek was at 12 feet and rising. It is expected to crest at 13.6 feet early this morning and fall below flood stage late this morning.
