COLUMBUS, Ind. – A local man with multiple warrants for his arrest was taken into custody after he was located by the Columbus Police Department (CPD) on Sunday evening.
Officers responded to a residence on North Hinman Street regarding the warrant service at around 8:45 p.m. The officers found Ryan C. Lee, 31, of Columbus, in the home’s backyard where he was detained without incident.
Law enforcement confirmed five local warrants for his arrest. Police also allegedly discovered a syringe and other drug-related items in the suspect’s possession.
Lee was taken into custody, transported to Bartholomew County Jail, and preliminarily charged with the five Bartholomew County warrants, Possession of a Syringe (Level 6 Felony), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class C Misdemeanor)
