SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Schneck Foundation will present free Safe Sitter classes this summer. Safe Sitter provides young adults with an up-to-date and well-rounded youth development program with a medical basis taught by trained team members from Schneck Medical Center.
For boys and girls entering grades six through eight, this one-day session teaches babysitters the life and safety skills they need and equips them with the tools to handle emergencies when caring for younger children.

Safe Sitter classes are offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on specific dates at the following locations:
- Seymour – Schneck Professional Building: June 7, 8, 14, 21, 22, and 28; July 12, 13, 20
- Scottsburg – Scott County YMCA: June 15
- North Vernon – Jennings County Public Library: June 1 and July 19
- Salem – Washington County Community Foundation: June 29
