GREENWOOD, Ind. – The City of Greenwood and Greenwood Parks and Recreation are preparing for the Total Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8. Residents will notice parking and open space management changes to accommodate eclipse viewing opportunities.
This unique occurrence will draw many visitors to the area as Greenwood experiences almost four minutes of totality from 3:05:52 to 3:09:54 p.m. Viewers are encouraged to prepare for the event and take precautions by using appropriate glasses during partial and complete totality.
