BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – Franklin Community Schools (FCS) received some very good news on Thursday. Union Elementary School in Bargersville was recognized for outstanding achievement at the Indiana Statehouse.
The Indiana Department of Education celebrated 242 elementary schools that achieved 95% or higher passing on the IREAD State Assessment. Union Elementary was one of those schools honored for 95% reading proficiency.
Superintendent for FCS, Dr. David Clendening said, “We are thankful for our entire school community who teaches, supports, loves, and nurtures our Union Elementary School Ramblers.”
