COLUMBUS, Ind. – The annual Ethnic Expo in Columbus, presented by First Financial Bank, is scheduled for October 11-12 this year. The two-day festival takes place both days around Columbus City Hall.
The Ethnic Expo Committee is now requesting submissions from all potential candidates interested in being the 2024 Host Country Partner. The deadline to apply to be the Host Country is March 15. The application can be found online at ethnicexpo.org.
Ethnic Expo is organized by the City of Columbus and is made possible by donations from First Financial Bank and other local businesses. It is supported, in part, by the Indiana Arts Commission, the Columbus Area Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Mayor Mary Ferdon said, “Ethnic Expo is one of my favorite events every year. It allows both residents and guests the opportunity to celebrate and embrace the vibrant cultures and traditions that make Columbus unexpected and unforgettable. Please join us in discovering the many cultures, arts, traditions, and of course food, which Columbus has to offer.”
The fall festival is family-friendly and features live performances of international music and dancing, authentic cuisine and bazaar market vendors, and free children’s activities.
