COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Area Career Connection Cosmetology students recently benefited from the support of the Columbus Fire Department (CFD).
Lindsey Gilley, Cosmetology educator at C-4 Columbus Area Career Connection, reached out to members of CFD, seeking individuals interested in allowing the students to practice their skills.
Five firefighters volunteered and said they were “impressed by the professional demeanor and services.”
Cosmetology instruction takes place at the McDowell Adult Education Center, where students provide services to the community from 8 to 10 a.m. and 1:30 to 5 p.m. Services are available by appointment only.
