COLUMBUS, Ind. – The City of Columbus announced late Wednesday that the new Mayor of Columbus, Mary Ferdon, and other officials who were elected in the November 2023 general election, will take their oaths this Monday, January 1, 2024.
The swearing-in ceremony will be at Columbus City Hall.
Members of the Columbus Common Council and other boards and commissions have been invited to attend. While at the event, they may receive information but will they not be in session and will not conduct business.
