EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Town of Edinburgh is preparing for the Holiday of Lights festival this weekend. Edinburgh’s 2023 Holiday of Lights begins at 9 a.m. this Saturday, December 9, with the Light It Up 5K run and walk.
Activities continue in the evening with the Sakura Events Center hosting the Holiday Market at 106 E. Main Cross St., from 4 to 9 p.m.
Warm up at the Chili Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Edinburgh Presbyterian Church, 306 E. Main Cross St.
The parade starts at 5:30 p.m. at East Side Elementary School and continues through downtown.
Santa Claus is available for pictures from 6 to 8 p.m. at the John R. Drybread Community Center.
Carriage rides are from 6 to 9 p.m. for $25 per carriage. Tickets are available for the carriage rides beginning on Friday, December 8.
Enjoy a holiday show at The Pixy with the Night Owl Country Band at 7 p.m.
Downtown shops are open late the night of the Holiday of Lights so you can Christmas shop.
