SEYMOUR, Ind. – Eric Fish, MD, MBA, FACOG, President/CEO of Schneck Medical Center has been selected to join the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Regional Policy Board 5. The nine Regional Policy Boards provide guidance on public policy issues considered by the AHA Board of Trustees, serve as ad hoc policy development committees when appropriate, and identify needs unique to a region.
“I’m honored to serve on the AHA Regional Policy Board and to represent the perspective of our local community at the state and national levels,” said Fish. “Current initiatives and decisions being made at the federal and state levels will be important for our patients and all citizens of this region and state.”
Dr. Fish has over 18 years of leadership experience at Schneck, including Medical Director of Schneck Obstetrics and Gynecology, President of the Schneck Medical Staff, Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer, and most recently, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
