FRANKLIN, Ind. – The City of Franklin has announced the schedule for trash pickup during Thanksgiving week, November 20-25. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, collections will be as normal on your regular day.
There will be no pickup on Thursday, November 23, Thanksgiving Day. Residents whose trash day is Thursday will be serviced on Friday, November 24. Those with a normal trash day on Friday will have their trash collected on Saturday, November 25.
Here are some other reminders for residents from the city of Franklin and WM, its waste service partner.
- Place carts on the street with wheels against the curb by 6 a.m. on collection days
- Keep the cart at three feet from parked cars, mailboxes, and other obstacles
- If you are new to town, set up your service by calling 1-888-736-3640
- All trash should be bagged
- Don’t overfill your cart. Overflow materials may be subject to additional charges
