FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Steve Barnett, and other local dignitaries helped commemorate the completion of the Yandes Street brick project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday. The City of Franklin took a bow for a job well done.
The City of Franklin thanks everyone who made this project possible. Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization, GAI Consultants, Beaty Construction, and lots of city employees played a role in this street’s reconstruction. The city also appreciates the patience and support it received from its citizens during the project.
Partially funded by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization, Yandes Street has now been restored to its former glory.
Neighbors and friends were also on hand to celebrate the official opening of the street.
All Franklin and Johnson County residents can stop by the neighborhood to view the beautifully finished work.
