GREENWOOD, Ind. – The City of Greenwood’s Fall Concert Series is set to return this weekend and will continue for the next four Saturdays with shows beginning at 6 p.m.
The popular concerts, presented by Festival Country Indiana, are free and take place at the Greenwood Amphitheater. The performances cover a variety of musical genres, attracting Johnson County residents, families, and visitors, who bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snack-filled coolers. Dream Slice will kick off the Fall Concert Series this Saturday.
In 2022, Greenwood’s Parks and Recreation Department welcomed about 4,000 attendees for the series, and officials hope to increase that number this year.
“In Greenwood, we pride ourselves on providing year-round community events for our residents and visitors to enjoy,” said Greenwood Mayor Mark W. Myers.
Select food trucks will be present at each concert. Participating food vendors include Happy Taco, Bearded Burger, Marco’s Pizza, Woppo’s, and Box Burger.
The official 2023 Fall Concert Series schedule includes:
- September 23 – Dream Slice (Happy Taco)
- September 30 – 90 Proof (Box Burger and Woppo’s)
- October 7 – That 90’s Band (Marco’s Pizza and Bearded Burger)
- October 14 – Stella Luna (Box Burger and Woppo’s)
