COLUMBUS, Ind. – Registration is now open for the Bicycle Boogie bike ride and fundraiser on September 30, an IU Alumni Association South Central Region event that benefits scholarships for area college students.
The Bicycle Boogie starts and ends at the Upland Pump House in downtown Columbus with three routes available at 13.5, 33, or 48 miles. The entry fee includes pre-event coffee, fruit, and snacks. Well-marked trails take cyclists through the Columbus People Trail and surrounding areas, with the 48-mile route exploring the rolling hills of Brown County with a stop at the Story Inn.
The donation is $30 for early registrations and $35 on the day of the event. Children 12 and under are free. All proceeds benefit the IUPUC Alumni Association student scholarship.
