COLUMBUS, Ind. – The “Rock the Block Party and Dance Show,” a free community event offered as part of the grand opening weekend of the 2023 Exhibit Columbus. It will take place from 7 to 10 p.m., on Saturday, August 26, in downtown Columbus, at 4th and Washington Streets.
The event is free, open to all ages, and will feature cultural performances and a live DJ. Beer and wine will be available for purchase for those ages 21 and older. No ticket or registration is required.
Four dance groups offering cultural performances will perform including Dance Street Studio (Swing and Salsa), Monja Ninja (Japanese Dance), Bollywood Beats (Indian Dance), and Black Excellence (African American Dance).
“Rock the Block” is part of the 2023 Exhibition, Public by Design, during the official Opening Weekend, on August 25 and 26. In addition to this event and throughout the day, Exhibit Columbus installations will be activated with activities for leisure, entertainment, and connection.
