GREENWOOD, Ind. – Thousands of local residents, along with visitors from all over central and southern Indiana, will flock to Craig Park in Greenwood this evening, Saturday, June 24, for the city’s annual Freedom Festival. The party begins with a parade and culminates that night with KORN Country 100.3 Musical Fireworks.
The parade, in downtown Greenwood, steps off at 4 p.m. Live music begins at 5:30 p.m. in Craig Park on the brand-new event lawn. Dozens of food and partner vendors will be set up throughout the park.
At 9:15 the Greenwood Freedom Festival will “Honor Our Heroes.” The Star Spangled Banner will be sung at 10 p.m., followed by a flag retirement ceremony.
Then, at approximately 10:15 p.m., KORN Country 100.3 Musical Fireworks blasts off to end the day of family fun. The fireworks are synchronized to your favorite country, contemporary, and patriotic music and you can hear the soundtrack on radio station KORN Country 100.3.
