SEYMOUR, Ind. — The Indiana 2023 Municipal Primary Election for Jackson and Jennings Counties is scheduled for this Tuesday, May 2.
However, with no contested races within the political parties, the City of North Vernon is not hosting a primary election this year and all voting will take place during the General Election on November 7.
The following are candidates running for office for the City of Seymour in contested races:

Seymour City Common Council – At Large
- Clint Bush (R)
- Drew Storey (R)
Here are the Seymour Primary Election Day Vote Centers (open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
- Jackson County Public Library – 303 W 2nd St., Seymour
- Jackson County Learning Center – 323 Dupont Dr., Seymour
- Calvary Baptist Church – 1202 N. Ewing St., Seymour
