COLUMBUS, Ind. – Ignite returns to Columbus this Thursday, April 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Helen Haddad Hall, 315 Franklin St., in Columbus.
The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce once again presents individuals with their enlightening and innovative ideas to improve the Columbus community. Organizers will award cash prizes.
The event is a fast-paced idea pitch competition. The April 27 speakers have built their presentations with 20 slides, each of which is shown for 15 seconds, giving each presenter five minutes of fame. German American Bank and Velocities are the sponsors of Ignite Columbus. There will be a cash bar and light appetizers.
Applications were submitted in two categories: A) “Most Innovative Presentation” – Competitors pitch their ideas to the panel of judges for funding (The project must benefit Columbus in some way). B) “Most Enlightening Presentation” – Competitors teach the audience something (This category is not tied to a project, it is just supposed to be fun, educational, or entertaining).
