INDIANAPOLIS – Communities in Senate District 41 will receive more than $3.6 million to improve roads and bridges through the Community Crossings Matching Grant Program (CCMG). Aside from the funding Columbus and Bartholomew County received, Franklin and New Whiteland got $1 million and $706,500 respectively.
Since its enactment, CCMG has awarded over $1.27 billion in state-matching funds for local construction projects.
“The Community Crossings Matching Grant Program gives local leaders an opportunity to advance community infrastructure and improve the lives of Hoosiers. I look forward to seeing the positive impact the funding has,” said State Sen. Greg Walker (R-Columbus).
CCMG offers two rounds of applications each year, with the next call occurring in July 2023.
