JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. – U.S. Representative Erin Houchin (R-Ind.-09) on Wednesday appointed three Hoosiers for the new Jeffersonville district office: Amanda Lowery, Shelly Watkins, and Jonathan Pearce.
Lowery, from Jackson County, is the new District Director. She served as the Jackson County Clerk from 2011-2018 and as Recorder from 2019-2022. She is an at-large member of the Jackson County Council and also serves as the Jackson County Republican Party Chairman.
Watkins, now the Constituent Services Director, is from Salem. She worked as Congressman Trey Hollingsworth’s constituent liaison until she was named Casework Director in 2018.
Pearce is the new Constituent Services Liason. The Crothersville man was an intern in the Vice President’s office in Washington, D.C., in 2018. He was most recently a constituent liaison caseworker for Congressman Hollingsworth.
