GREENWOOD, Ind. – Local residents and visitors from around central Indiana will gather in downtown Greenwood Saturday, June 25, for the city’s annual Freedom Festival celebration in Craig Park.
Festivities will kick off at 4 p.m. with the festival parade traveling a new route. Visit the Greenwood website to view the updated parade route map. The festival will also host nearly 30 food vendors, six beer and wine vendors, and numerous community booths.
This year’s live entertainment includes two popular Indy-based bands: Groove Smash and Toy Factory, and beginning at 9:15 p.m., Grace Assembly of God will conduct the Honor our Heroes ceremony featuring Lt. Colonel Oliver North (Ret.).
This year, the Kids Zone is back offering inflatables, face painting, and other family-fun activities.
To cap off the evening, KORN Country 100.3 Musical Fireworks, presented by Winters Heating and Cooling will begin at 10:15 p.m.
