COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) has arrested Christopher D. Lumpkins, 54, of Columbus, on felony charges following a child molestation investigation.
Earlier this month, CPD officers responded to a Columbus mobile home park in regards to an alleged molestation incident that had previously occurred.
Detectives believe that the juvenile victim was molested on a number of occasions over a period of several years.
Lumpkins was charged with three counts of child molestation and remains incarcerated on an $800,000 bond in Bartholomew County Jail.
