DUPONT, Ind. – A southern Jennings County man was arrested by Indiana State Police (ISP) on drug-related charges following a traffic stop on Tuesday morning in Jefferson County.
A trooper pulled over a pickup truck for speeding in Dupont, just before 8 a.m. During the traffic stop, the officer became suspicious of criminal activity taking place.
The trooper’s K9, Bosco, conducted a sweep of the exterior of the truck and alerted to the odor of illegal drugs. During a search, ISP allegedly located about 15 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, along with drug-related items, inside the pickup.
The driver, Robert J. Graham, 44, of Paris Crossing, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Jefferson County Jail.
