Final Columbus East Food Pantry is Friday

COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus East High School Food Pantry is having its last community food distribution this Friday, May 20, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Pre-bagged collections of food, with enough for approximately 200 families, will be handed out at the drive-up event.

Due to strong demand, the pantry is limiting the number of collections of food per car to two. Columbus Animal Services is also distributing limited amounts of pet food.

The free, Columbus East Food Pantry is a Gleaners’ school-based pantry. It is open to everyone and is not limited to BCSC families. The pickup point is at door 31 in the west parking lot behind the school, near the tennis courts.
