NORTH VERNON, Ind. – After an ongoing investigation, and with assistance from the Indiana State Police, Jennings County Sheriff’s Office deputies went to two residences in the Country Squire Lakes area last Friday night where a total of nine individuals were arrested on numerous drug-related charges.
Sheriff Kenny Freeman said, “Team building with other agencies adds to our capabilities and allows us to pool resources.” He added, “We will continue to target problem location and common nuisance (trap houses).”
Taken into custody were Jason Duncan, Trevor Dilk, James Kniffen, Bridget Johnson, Stanley Sawyer, and Daisy Watkins, all of North Vernon. Also arrested were Kristen Couch, of Scipio, Lisa Clark, of Commiskey, and Timothy Southwood, of Seymour.
Drug charges for the various suspects ranged from possession of methamphetamine to possession of paraphernalia to visiting a common nuisance.
