FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin Community Schools (FCS) announced Thursday that classes will be moved to virtual learning for grades 5 through 12 on Friday, January 14.
COVID-19 has made the change necessary because of a large number of absences at the FCS secondary level, plus transportation challenges have arisen.
In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there is no school on Monday, January 17. The plan is for students to return to in-person instruction on Tuesday, January 18.
FCS preschool through 4th-grade students continue with in-person learning without changes to their schedule.
