EDINBURGH, Ind. – Edinburgh Fire and Rescue firefighters and volunteers are on their way to Mayfield, Kentucky, with a 30-foot trailer filled with supplies. They are delivering the goods to the victims of the recent tornados that devastated that community.
Officials say they are “truly moved by the generosity and support of the Edinburgh community.”
The department says special appreciation goes to Kit Logan for making the program happen.
Edinburgh Fire and Rescue also recognizes Chief John Henderson, all of the firefighters, Edinburgh High School, Hawkins Lawn Care, Johnson County Public Library, and the many Bartholomew and Johnson County businesses that helped with the project.
