FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin Police Department (FPD) was made aware of a threat to do harm at Franklin Community Middle School on Wednesday.
The juvenile suspect and mother were reportedly interviewed by police. At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives arrested the juvenile.
The Franklin Community School Corporation (FCSC) and Franklin Police Department have now handled three school threats over the last four days of classes.
FCSC and FPD say they will continue to take seriously all threats to the safety of students, teachers, and staff.
