NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) was called to Country Squire Lakes on Tuesday at around 10:45 a.m. to investigate an abandoned vehicle in the roadway.
While there, deputies pulled over another car that had a connection to the original abandoned vehicle. During the traffic stop, JCSO says probable cause to conduct a search of the vehicle was established.
A back seat passenger, Jason Duncan, 21, of North Vernon, was supposedly found to be in possession of almost two ounces of methamphetamine, a firearm, and other illegal drug-related materials.
Another occupant, Brooke Vidoloff, 23, of North Vernon, allegedly had drug items in her possession.
Both were placed under arrest and transported to the Jennings County Jail.
Duncan was preliminarily charged with dealing in meth, possession of a firearm, possession of meth, possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
Vidoloff was booked for possession of paraphernalia.
